Our policies have been designed to ensure you
enjoy a truly peaceful and relaxing visit with us. So
to enhance the enjoyment of your treatments, we ask for
your cooperation in upholding these policies:
- All sessions are by
appointment only. All
calls must be made through the office number, 985-727-9665.
No appointments will be made with individual therapists
through personal numbers, unless the therapist has
called to confirm or follow-up with the client.
- Please arrive in advance of your scheduled
appointment. Unfortunately, late arrivals cannot receive
an extension of scheduled treatment time, as the appointment
time was allocated exclusively to you for that time
frame.
- To insure a stress free
experience, please turn off your cell phone or pager.
We want you to fully feel the peace.
- Cancellations: It is
understood that occasionally you may have to cancel
your appointment. However, to avoid charges,
please honor our 24-hour advance notice cancellation
policy. With THE PLAN, package clients, the session
is deducted from the package.
- THE PLAN packages are
prepaid discounted sessions, which are not refundable.
- For all massage and bodywork sessions,
you must be 18 years of age and older or accompanied
by a parent or guardian. It is
strongly suggested that children not be left unattended
while at AVIVA.
- In order to fully take advantage of the therapeutic
value of massage, you might be asked to drink more water,
do some stretching, take an Epson salt bath, ice or heat
after the session, or any other number of activities
to assist you in you wellness plan and to enhance the
session results.
- We do not diagnose or prescribe; we do sometimes make
referrals to another staff therapist or another healthcare
practitioner to assist you further in your healing journey.
- We reserve the right
to refuse treatment to anyone. Your therapist
may terminate your treatment, without a refund, for
any use of inappropriate language or actions.
- Payment Information: AVIVA/HeartLight
accepts personal checks and cash. A receipt will
be issued upon request. In the very near future
credit card services will be available.
Gratuities are never expected
but always appreciated. The
amount you leave is completely at your discretion.
