What makes AVIVA different is the unhurried environment in which to let go and de-stress. You are viewed as an individual, and the relationship between you and your massage therapist and aesthetician is respectful and collaborative. The focus is on the massage or facial, and your needs. This allows AVIVA to offer THE BEST service available. It is the basics of massage that really matter.

AVIVA Massage & Bodywork is a service of HeartLight Enterprises, LLC, and they share space in Old Mandeville at 601 Lafitte Street. In addition to AVIVA, HeartLight Services include Hypnotherapy, Stress Management, Meditation, psycho-spiritual consultations, workshops, presentations and articles. Previously the owner has been a columnist in “Sophisticated Woman”, “delectable”, “Alternatives”, “CHILL”, “Mind-Body”, among others. Look for articles to be included on this site in the near future.

The licensed massage therapists and aestheticians at AVIVA are waiting to be of service to you. They come with several years experience and are firm practitioners of the individual approach. In addition to massage, other body, mind, spirit practices will be coming to AVIVA & HeartLight.

The owner, Linda L. Strickland, BA, CHt, RM, LMT, is nationally certified with the National Certification Board of Massage Therapy & Bodywork, and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. An Ambassador with the West St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce and Board member of the Old Mandeville Business Association, she is grateful to be of service to the community she has called home for over 45 years.
